Student residence "Max-Kade-Haus"

Students Hall of Residence Warburgring 76, 66424 Homburg

The residential hall on Warburgring in Homburg underwent renovation and modernization in two stages in 2006 and 2008. The first phase in 2006 involved the complete renewal of the communal shower and toilet facilities and the kitchens. New floor coverings were laid, and all rooms and flats were fitted with new furniture. In 2008, new windows were installed and the building’s flat roof was entirely renewed.  The common rooms on the ground floor of the building also underwent refurbishment. The renovation programme was made possible thanks to generous financial support from the Max Kade Foundation.

All rooms and flats are equipped with an internet connection and a satellite television point. The university hospital complex is about a three-minute walk away. 

135 study bedrooms
Furnished with a cupboard, divan bed with storage drawer, chest of drawers, shelving, table and chair, and a washbasin in the room. Showers and toilets and shared kitchen facilities are located on each floor.

8 flats
Furnished as above with a small bathroom (shower and washbasin).
Each floor has shared toilet facilities and a communal kitchen.
Area: 21 m²

4 flats
Furnished as above with a small bathroom (bath and washbasin).
Each floor has shared toilet facilities and a communal kitchen.
Area: 25 m²

Other facilities
Common rooms on ground floor, TV, bike lockup, satellite TV connection, table-tennis table, laundry room, fitness room, hospital-network phones located on each floor, two lifts.

Monthly rent:
Study bedroom: €302.00         
Flat 21 m²: €324,00  (shower included, shared kichen and toilet on the floor)

Flat 25 m²: €346,00  (bathtub included, shared kichen and toilet on the floor)

Setup Example rooms 1 to 9 OG: Furnished with a cupboard, divan bed with storage drawer, chest of drawers, shelving, table and chair, and a washbasin in the room.   Other equipment: Mirror, ceiling lamp,  mattress (100 x 200 cm), duvets and pillows for a fee on request.
