About our kindergarten
Up to 63 children can be cared for in our facility. We have two kindergarten groups and two crèche groups. The older children are divided into two groups:
The raven group with children aged 3-6 years, group size with max. 25 children.
The bat group with children aged 18 months – 6 years with a maximum group size of 18 children, including a maximum of 5 children under 3 years.
Our little guests are in the following groups:
The hedgehog group accommodates children from 8 weeks – 3 years, max. 10 children
The owl group also accepts children from 8 weeks to 3 years of age, with a maximum occupancy of 10 children.
We work according to the situational approach. This means making the life situation of the children and their families the basis of our educational work. We align our pedagogy with the Saarland education program.

Mon-Thu: 7.30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Fri: 7.30 am – 4.00 pm

Familiar atmosphere
As a multicultural facility, we place great value on tolerance, respect and openness. The special diversity in our daycare center sets us apart. We lovingly create a place of “feeling good” and “being welcome” for the whole family with a great deal of warmth and acceptance.
Nature & Environment
As a “fair daycare center”, sustainable environmental education and teaching a respectful approach to nature are very important to us. For example, by spending regular mornings in the neighboring forest, planting our own vegetables and our forest playground, we create a special closeness to nature for the children. Fair trade, upcycling and the sustainable use of natural resources are an integral part of our everyday life.
Language
Language education is also a major focus of our daily work. We teach the children vocabulary and language structures of the German language in a targeted and playful way. We use the linguistic diversity in our daycare center to awaken the children’s interest and curiosity in a wide variety of languages.
